ULUTEK TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT ZONE

The global economy has a new dimension with the industry 4.0 paradigm and the investments made to knowledge-based technology fields that, in their rapid growth, are the main engines of economic growth. The investments in R&D and innovations are instruments for maintaining competitiveness in the international area.

Projected with the vision of tailoring scientific knowledge to production, ULUTEK was founded in 2006 with the objective of transferring academic knowledge into economic production in Bursa and nearby universities through collaboration with the private sector.

ULUTEK is located on Uludag University Campus and has a central location in terms of land, air, sea and air transportation-i.e., 5 minutes to Izmir-Istanbul motorway; 20 minutes to Mudanya Ferry Terminal and 45 minutes to Bursa Yenisehir International Airport. Also, that ULUTEK is 1.5 hours to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport and around 2 to 2,5 hours to Atatürk Airport facilitates the international cooperation. ULUTEK is close to many industrial zones in Bursa and it is in a convenient location to transport.

ULUTEK aims to develop value-added novel technologies, and it is a Technopark entity for industry and society that conducts scientific and technological works and projects, that produces knowledge and patents, and that transfers the knowledge and patents, which are thereby produced, to production.

Proclaiming 2016 as the year of breakthrough and promotion, ULUTEK provides services as a research company to other companies that are interested in software, information technology, machinery, automotive and subsidiary industry, computers, electronics, energy, food and environment. With an approximately 100% occupancy rate, ULUTEK is increasing its service area by approximately 480 acres and aims at being among the top-tier Technoparks of Turkey.

This is the vision of ULUTEK as it strives to make its strategic mission more successful through outcome-oriented viable projects for our industrial companies. This strategic mission involves finding an implementation field for our scholars and researchers’ ideas so that these ideas may be put into practice towards the common goal of making the strategic mission more successful.
